Nightmare on Edgewood Offers New Attraction For 2014, Meet "Hysteria"

Image
Nightmare on Edgewood, located on the Southside of Indianapolis, has a new attraction for the 2014 haunt season: Hysteria! Just judging simply by the image(s) on the NoE website, it appears that Hysteria will attempt to pick at your phobias and fears. Interesting side note: one of the designers of Hysteria was a set decorator for TV's ROSEANNE (how cool is that?)! We can't wait to see what Hysteria is all about! Also, we believe the original name for Hysteria was Mind Games -- not sure why the change, though.

2013 Review: Nightmare on Edgewood

Image
I took my younger brother with me to check out Nightmare on Edgewood -- we both have worked in the haunt industry for awhile so it was neat to finally get to check out a new haunt.  Needless to say, we both left Nightmare on Edgewood more than impressed -- what we really dug was the seamless transition from one attraction to another. Furthermore, the actors really seemed to be digging what they were doing, especially some of the outdoor scenes.  It's always been are liking that the more intense and in-your-face that the actor gets, the better!  And the fine ladies and gents of the Nightmare on Edgewood's school bus scene really brought. I also give props to the builders and creators that manage to fit so much into such a tiny space.  So for that, congrats.  We also loved the majority of the haunt was basically hidden from eye-sight until you entered. Here's to hoping that Nightmare on Edgewood can match 2013's success in 2014!

Corpse Manor (R.I.P.)

Image
London, England. After the death of his father and inheriting the family fortune, Lord Henry Calvert decided that it was time for a change. Eager to make a fresh start, Henry, his wife, and their young daughter moved to a beautiful manor in a lovely part of Indianapolis. Although the manor appeared to be perfect at first glance, the newlyweds did not know about its dark secrets. You see, what the Calverts didn't know was that their home was built on a graveyard. The foundation was built using dispirited tombstones. Strange things started happening and the only explanation was to blame the dark tortured souls of the thousands of rotting corpses under the manor. Location 4700 N. Post Rd.
